However, I feel enough time has passed to talk ultra bargainous makeup brushes again, especially as I've picked up a few new sets recently and been super pleased with them all. As always the listing I've found below are from both UK and China Sellers with free delivery and no custom fees to pay!
If you are in the market for a new brush set then I hope you find something here!

I don't know about you but recently I've felt like Spring has been in the air (halleluiah!) on the odd day that is. This has led me to organise my makeup collection (I wrote a post on it here) and having a cull of my makeup brush collection.
So I thought it was the time I shared some more eBay makeup brushes as I'm currently adding a few new sets to my own collection. Below you will find brushes from as little as £1-2 to no more than £7 which really is incredible as some of these sets contain a lot of makeup brushes and appear really nice quality!
NOTE: If you are new to buying brushes/items from eBay or my eBay finds it's worth noting that a few of the listing below are from China sellers. You will not get charged any customs fees, however, patience is a must as delivery can take anywhere from 2-6 weeks.
PIN FOR LATER!

Although the fish version of this brush (here) is cute I think I prefer this one, especially for the pink chrome finish. The brush also comes in quite a few shapes for contouring with or applying foundation. A cheap little pick that I love!
2. 10-Piece Pink & Blue Ombre Brush Set (£5.41) HERE
While vibrant brushes sets aren't normally my thing this set really caught my eye as it has Zoeva vibes with the rose gold ferrules and light pink handles but the touch of blue just adds something extra. You also receive a nice mix of brushes here with five face brushes and five eyeshadow brushes. A really good value brush set.
3. 3-Piece Rose Gold Metallic Brush Set (£5.49) HERE
Honestly, anything rose gold jumps out at me especially when it's beauty related. So I had to include this set of 3 brushes. I already own the large powder brush but with a metallic silver finish (far left) and it's beyond soft and wonderful quality. If you are wanting to update some of your larger face brushes this is the set to consider!
4. Chrome Mermaid Foundation Brush (£1.59) HERE
Another mermaid inspired brush here but one that's a little more grown-up with an interesting gold/silver ombre effect I'm never seen before. It also helps that it's an absolute bargain!
5. 11-Piece Rose Gold Duo Fibre Makeup Brush Set (£3.96) HERE
Back to rose gold with this stunning set at an incredible price point. I mean really how can these brushes be only 36p each?! As I'm after some new eyeshadow brushes and love a fan brush I think I will be snapping this set up once I'm done writing this post. The set also comes in an icy blue/pink finish and you can also pick up the fan brush separately for only 99p, all within the same listing.
6. 12-Piece Silver Metallic Blending Makeup Brush Set (£6.88) HERE
This is another set I'm considering as I love a metallic silver finish and the fibres of these look densely packed and soft. Should I get these? I think so!
7. Retractable Makeup Brushes (£3.99 each) HERE
Onto a bit of an unusual find now with a range of interesting looking retractable brushes. Now I haven't got a clue about the quality but both the orange ferrule brush and the pink-topped brush look interesting and something different. Also ideal if you want to put a powder brush in your bag without it getting damaged.
8. 9-Piece Mini Makeup Blending Sponges (£2.69) HERE
For the past year I've been using a set of mini makeup sponges from Primark that are similar to the Beauty Blender ones but last time I checked they had stopped doing them! But thankfully I found a good alternative which includes lots of different shapes. A nice little bargain here.
9. 4-Piece Mermaid Makeup Brush Set (£2.45) HERE
Another mermaid inspired brush set that really does look lovely. Again the set includes a fan brush which always comes in handy and three nice looking eyeshadow blending brushes.
10. 10-Piece Face & Eyes Marble Brush Set (£5.66) HERE
A bit of a dupe here as these look very similar to the Lily England Marble Luxe Makeup Brush Set but without the £45 price tag! I love the combination of the bronze ferrules with the marble design - really very nice. Another total bargain for ten full-size brushes.

11. 10-Piece Zoeva Style Makeup Brush Set (£3.99) HERE
A nearly all eye makeup brush set here that looks very similar to Zoeva brushes. These are a good mix of natural and synthetic fibres and are ultra-affordable!
12. 5-Piece Oval Makeup Brush Set with Stand (£7.76) HERE
If you are looking for beyond soft brushes then you can't go wrong with oval brushes. Not only are they the softest of brushes but they blend liquid product especially foundation really well. I also like that this set comes with a stand which would also be handy for when they are drying after being washed.

13. 7-Piece Glitter Brush Set with Pouch (£7.50) HERE
Although this brush set isn't my style I wanted to include them as they look like an ideal set for a teenager especially as they come with a cute pouch to store them in. I couldn't tell from the listing if the glitter inside moves but if it does then these are some magical brushes!
14. 12-Piece Rose Gold Pink Makeup Brush Set (£6.26) HERE
Lastly, another good brush set that caters to both face and eye makeup. I really like the combination of the rose gold ferrules with the pink handles and love the look of the thick foundation style brush.
Along with eBay offering some of the most affordable makeup brushes the platform also boasts some of the most unique. This is something I've discovered over the past few years and I now own countless unique & stunning makeup brushes that I don't think I'd be able to pick up anywhere else. Especially at the low prices I find them at!
By now I think it's been established that I'm a total eBay addict! I'm obsessed with creating my weekly eBay bargain posts, buying everything and anything for my home from there (even my bed!) and having more eBay makeup brushes than I know what to do with!
So I thought it was finally time to sit down and share with you the makeup brush sets and individual brushes worth buying from eBay. For the most part, eBay makeup brushes are amazing quality, especially for the price, but there are ones to be avoided so hopefully this post will steer you in the right direction!
Okay, I feel I need to apologise for featuring two amazingly priced eBay brush sets in the space of two weeks. No one needs multiple brush sets.... but ya know, when they are this pretty!!
Much like the oh, so magical unicorn makeup brush set I recently reviewed, these are of a similar theme. I don't know what that theme is exactly... but it's god damn pretty none the less!
Over time, I feel I've become more knowledgeable about eBay and can suss out both good and bad listings/products. So I now have a high success rate when buying low-priced items from eBay and I'm generally always pleased with the items I buy.

1. Unicorn Bristles Grey Makeup Brush Set
£7.69 for 5 brushes HERE
Can we just take a moment to appreciate this makeup brush set please?
Taken a moment? OMFG these are amazing?! These could have been made by unicorns I think, no human could come up with something as equally chic and whimsical! As I have zero restraint when it comes to amazing looking brush sets I snapped these up and now can't wait for them to arrive. Side note - still swooning over the pastel multicoloured bristles a week later! - '5PCS Silver A' in drop down menu in listing
2. Rose Gold & Pastel Unicorn Makeup Brush Set
£6.99 for 6 multicolour brushes HERE
Another stunning set that I actually already own the rose gold version of (pretty but not as pretty as these!). The handles aren't full size so I use them as travel brushes and they work well for that purpose I find. Really soft and I strangely love the feel of the handles to these. - '6PCS Multicolor' in drop down menu in listing
3. Spectrum Siren Dupe Makeup Brush Set
£5.99 for 10 brushes HERE
Finally some Spectrum style brushes are coming onto eBay and at only £5.99! These look incredibly similar to the Spectrum Siren collection with the difference being that the ferrules aren't as iridescent. I have a similar plain set of these 10 brushes so I can say that the bristles are ultra soft and the handles and ferrules are well made. I'm currently trying to resist these but I know I will cave and buy them at the end of the month, especially as they're only £5.99!
4. Purple Ombre Multicoloured Makeup Brush Set
£8.99 for 7 brushes HERE
Similar to the #2 makeup brushes set but full size these look amazing (all the brushes in this listing are stunning in fact!) and again are done well so they don't look cheap or tacky. Another set I'm so tempted by but I will have to say no to these as I do have a similar rose gold set that I love. - '7PCS Purple' in drop down menu in listing
5. Multicolourd Metallic Oval Brush Set with Stand
£10.49 for 5 brushes + stand HERE
Love oval brushes? Well they just got a multicoloured chrome makeover! Oval brushes are certainly a new way of applying makeup and give the ultimate flawless finish especially to base products. These are verging on tacky but I kinda' like them!
6. Laduree Dupe Makeup Brushes
£6.50 each HERE
Lastly I had to include these dupe brushes that look gorgeous but I'm on the fence as to whether the quality of the bristles would be good enough. Also for £6.50 per brush they aren't the cheapest option here however I wanted to include them as the actual Le Merveilleuses Laduree makeup brushes retail for around $80 each?!
Hope you've found some unicorn inspired makeup brushes here!

I think it's fair to say that I love budget makeup brushes from eBay. Yes, I've tried Zoeva, Sigma, MAC and lots of the other high end branded brushes but as long as the brush quality is there, whether cheap or expensive, I think it's down to application technique!
So with that being said, I'm more than happy to pick up inexpensive brushes and brush sets from eBay because they are pretty great on quality, for the most part, and look amazing! Here I have a stunning 8-piece set that consists of both face and eye brushes and looks extremely similar to the much more expensive Zoeva Rose Golden brushes. The best thing about them... they cost only £5.22 here - I know, crazy! Or if you don't mind branding on the handles of the brushes (they say 'Gujhui') then they are only £3.95 here!
Psssst! I've been asked by a few U.S readers now to include US links in my eBay posts so here's the link to these brushes - only $6.77!
If you read my review of the Zoeva -style rose gold/pink brushes then you will know that I particular loved the foundation buffing brush in the set. This was because it's the loveliest duo-fibre brush. So I was more than pleased that this set contains 4 duo fibre brushes, which are extremely soft I must say!

Similar eBay brush sets I've reviewed - 12 piece Zoeva-style eyeshadow brush set, mixed metal brush set, more rose gold brush sets.
Quality
Hopefully you can see from the images that these are absolutely stunning brushes without any flaws to them. The rose gold ferrules are just gorgeous and very well made, feeling secure and sturdy, in fact two of the duo fibre buffing brushes seem to have extra strong ferrules and really do feel expensive... I would have been fine to pay £5.00 for these two brushes alone!
As for shedding of the bristles it's all been very minimal and only with the two cream eyeshadow brushes, but nothing I don't expect from any other brush set. I also feel I need to repeat about how soft these brushes actually are - I think you will be as impressed as I am! I also love how dense the duo fibre brushes are, which makes them ideal for creating a flawless base.
Favourite Brushes
I really could have picked them all as my favourite brushes as I'm been using them equally and cannot fault them. However there are a few that really stand out to me as excellent brushes. Okay, I did still pick 5 out of the 8 in the set (bottom left image) but they are amazing and worth talking about in more detail.
Without sounding like a broken record, the duo fibre buffing brushes in this set are a-mazing. They come in large, medium and smallt, with the larger ones being ideal for liquid foundation and the smaller as a concealer buffing brush or as an eyeshadow blending brush. They neither soak up too much product or just smoosh it around the face, but perfectly blend over the skin to create a flawless finish every time. So these three for me are like gold dust! I've also been enjoying the angled contour/blusher brush, I would say it's not structured enough for full on contour but for a light everyday look or if you aren't into contouring but more bronzing then this will be fab. I've been using it with my favourite Make Up For Ever bronzer and due to the angle of the brush this gives a perfect application - love! I've also been loving the angled brow brush to fill in my brows with a brow powder, it does the job perfectly.
If you love high end brushes but decide to snap this set up I'd love to know you're thoughts and if I've converted you!

When I first discovered how makeup brushes could transform makeup application, especially eyes and foundation I went slightly crazy buying brushes. Meaning I now own a ridiculous amount of brushes (I'm talking 50+)!
The down side is I use a lot of them and they do require washing but the up side is I have discovered some amazing brushes which I thought were share-worthy enough for this post.
Here I am talking about my individual favourite brushes but if you are fairly new to makeup then a few brands that offer great quality brush sets are :- Real Techniques and Eco Tools for on the high street and Sigma & e.l.f brushes online. My most treasured brush sets are a Sigma Travel Set (costing around £35 for 7 brushes at the time) and the Real Techniques Core Collection Kit (4 brushes for £16.49 here).
Real Techniques Contour Brush & Buffing Brush (part of the 4 piece Core Collection Kit)
£16.49 - Amazon here
I thought I would pair these two brushes together as they can only be purchased in the Core Collection Kit and I really believe the set is worth it for these 2 brushes alone, though the other brushes aren't bad either. Starting with the Buffing Brush, this is now the only brush I use for foundation, gone are the days when I use to apply my foundation with a foundation brush and felt like I was literally painting my face with brush strokes and all. This literally buffs foundation into the skin to a flawless finish. Without may I add, micro exfoliating and creating flaky looking skin, an important factor if you have dry/combination skin! As for the Contour Brush, this is on the small side compared to others however I find this means you can be precise with your contouring, get right in under the cheekbone and up onto the temples. The brush is also incredible soft and blends well.
Royal & Langnickel [R]evolution BX-10: SM Powder
£31.99 - R&L online here
Well isn't this an expensive powder brush! I will admit this came as part of a brush set so it was only when I came to writing this post that I discovered the price tag... and to be totally honest, yes I love it, but no it isn't worth the price, unless you're a makeup artist maybe. If you are interested in this brush then I will say it made my top 5 as it just hold the right amount of powder and never makes the skin look cakey or heavy. Another much cheaper favourite powder brush of mine would be the e.l.f Studio Complexion Brush which is only £3.75 here!
Model Own Angled Brush
£5.00 - ASOS here or Boots
As a lover of eye liner (both gel & powder) I will always pick up an angled eyeliner brush when I see one as 1) I can never have enough as they require washing so often when used with gel liner 2) getting the right softness can be tricky, you don't want anything too soft but you don't want anything stiff either. So when I spotted this in Boots I had to have it to see if it could be good for gel or powder eyeliner and thankfully it was. Amazing in fact! I actually solely use this with powder eyeshadow on my top and bottom lash lines. If you have short lashes this brush is great to apply right against the top lash line with a dark brown/black eyeshadow to give the appearance of a fuller lashes. Or this can be used to smudge eyeshadow on the bottom lash line to pull your eye look together or give a more smokey look. I use this brush daily under my eyes and sometimes for powder winged eyeliner when I don't want to look like I'm wearing that much makeup. I really need to purchase another ASAP!
Sigma Tapered Blending Brush - E40
£13.49 - Amazon here
This is actually an eyeshadow blending brush for the crease/socket of the eye however I personally feel it is way too large for that and also over blends quite easily. So I use this as a concealer blending brush. I simply dab my concealer of choice (normally the Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Concealer) everywhere I require it, under the eyes and on spots. Then I blend out the concealer with this to give a flawless finish. Unlike a lot of concealer brushes this is super light so it doesn't remover any concealer off the skin but blends the edges. I really couldn't be without this brush.
I also thought I would include a sneaky extra as I received the above brush only last week and I'm already impressed with it. This is the Kiko Dark Heroine Face Brush Duo - £15.90 here from the new KIKO limited edition collection, meaning this will only be available for 3 months maximum!
The end I have been most impressed by is the smaller more densely packed, slanted end, which at first I wasn't sure how I would use, but after trying it out in a few ways I discovered it was amazing for cream blush but also for concealer so I'm on the fence which to use it for. Though I'm thinking I may opt to use it with cream blushers as I've never found the right brush up until now. The other side is for powders so I am thinking I will be using this for either bronzer or blush. I thought I'd mention it in this post as I am genuinely impressed so far.
Even though I do have an inordinate amount of brushes I do continue to pick them up and feel I may need to try out Crown brushes very soon. So I'd love your thoughts if you own any brushes by Crown.
Let me know if you love any of the brushes mentioned and your own personal favourites!
