Nothing inspires me more to be creative with colour than an Autumn palette. Deep berries shades and rust tones are my thing and Autumn is the perfect time to let them shine. For me, this is with both eyeshadow (you can read about my favourite autumn eyeshadow palettes here) and nail polish.
Come this time of year I can't wait to paint my nails, often picking an autumnal base colour and pairing it with a glittery top coat as I like to believe with both Halloween and Christmas on the way I can get away with a little daytime sparkle.
There are endless autumn nail polish shades you could go for but I decided to pick out the most noteworthy shades from my collection. There's a delicious palette of autumnal shades here along with two stunning top coat nail polishes that couldn't be more perfect for this time of year if they tried. Around this time of year, as the leaves begin to fall and there's a pleasant chill in the air, I find myself naturally changing up the makeup products I use. From deeper shades on my eyes to different tones on my nails.

As it's now officially Autumn I've been thinking how I want to make the most of one of my favourite seasons before I go full-on Christmas mode come November. To do this I feel I need to be semi pro-active with a seasonal bucket list or Autumn will pass me by.

Autumn is without a doubt my favourite season. For me, there's nothing like feeling cosy, so I'm all about lighting candles, snuggling under a soft blanket, and warm clothing... which is basically Autumn in a nutshell. Halloween is also a fun holiday that I enjoy getting excited over, even if it's just watching a few scary movies and by 'scary' I mean Hocus Pocus.
That's why I absolutely love seeking out autumn finds on eBay at this time of year. Mainly because most things are inexpensive but also because the items I generally find I haven't seen online before so while grabbing a bargain I also feel like I'm picking up something special that isn't readily available.

Candles lovers certainly don't need any excuse to pick up a nice scent but there's no denying candles and autumn go hand in hand. Which could be why I've managed to acquire four new candles in the past month alone.
For me gone are the days I pick up a magazine as a treat (blame the increase in price yet decrease in written content) rather spending the same amount of money on a new candle to light and enjoy of an evening.
