It's all well and good that I share the best makeup dupes around, but do I actually use them? Today I thought I would share with you my own most used makeup dupes that I have felt are worthy of staying in my makeup bag and have stopped me buying the more expensive version - yes, I often stop buying more premium products when a makeup dupe is that good!

Below you will find some of the best makeup dupes of 2019 that I have been totally sold on and absolutely recommend picking up.

Over the past year the beauty and skincare range that is Lacura at Aldi has gone from strength to strength, expanding both their beauty & skincare ranges and coming out with many an exciting Special Buy that often sells out.

Known for their dupes Aldi launched Lacura Purifying Pink Clay Mask back in September 2018 (£5.99) to rival Sand&Sky Purifying Pink Clay Mask (£39.00), going on to bring out a matching pink clay scrub and pink clay hot cloth cleanser. This is a range you can still pick up in store (it can be hit & miss on stock levels) or buy online (links below) and as I've tried everything I thought it would be good to give an overview! Below you will find out my own thoughts, plus what is worth picking up from the range!

Finding lipstick dupes as a beauty blogger is one of my favourite things to do. My makeup drawers are filled with premium lip products but when it comes to it there's something highly satisfying about discovering a cheaper alternative .

So as I'm a huge fan of Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks and own my fair share I thought I would bring you a list of the best Charlotte Tilbury lipstick dupes that will save you on average £18!

Here you can expect to find the best Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk lipstick dupe along with lots of other best-selling shades.

For a while now I've been on a mission to find cheap alternatives for the high-end makeup products I love.

To me, this makes sense for three reasons - 1. It feeds my savvy nature and brings me joy 2. I have a much cheaper back-up product once I run out of my favourite and 3. I like 'dupes' for frivolous use. You know using on non-special occasions and for throwing in a handbag without worrying it will get damaged or worn looking.

From my favourite bronzer to endless Charlotte Tilbury products (you can see my huge CT dupe post here) I'm a woman obsessed!

So I'm now focusing on the best fragrance dupes, again that I can throw in my bag, spray liberally and use whenever I feel like it because the spend with a perfume dupe is always going to be low!

Below you will find quite a few fragrance dupes for some of the best-selling perfumes that all fit into the 'cult classics' category - I hope you find a dupe for your own favourite perfume here.

Best-Charlotte-Tilbury-Dupes

Charlotte Tilbury Makeup is without a doubt a beauty brand loved by many. I mean who doesn't love good quality, high-end makeup with amazing packaging?

With an ever expanding range there is now many a Charlotte Tilbury dupe to be found that can save you money without scrimping on quality.

From stunning quality lipsticks to flawless base products and premium palettes I am without a doubt a fan of the brand, with let's just say more products that I should own!

But while I lust over most new Charlotte Tilbury makeup launches I can't help my savvy side that is in constant search of a for the latest beauty dupe or alternative.

For me, this is often a similar cheaper product that I can throw in my bag and use more frivolously but over the years a few of these Charlotte Tilbury Makeup dupes have found their way into my everyday makeup bag in favour of the original.

Lacura-healthy-glow-review

When I first started blogging back in early 2010 dupes simply weren't a thing. The abbreviation possibly got uttered a few years later but for a long time it was more about finding cheaper alternatives to higher-end products - the keyword being alternatives!

Fast forward five years and beauty dupes are more mainstream than anyone could have imagined, allowing bargain shoppers like myself the freedom to experience high-end makeup and skincare at has prices.

And while I still don't know where I sit when it comes to brands copying packaging to grab the attention of their own customers, on the whole I absolutely love a good dupe!

When it comes to beauty dupes we now expect them to pop up from brands on the high street, but I can't say I have them in mind when I'm doing my weekly food shop. So Aldi having a plethora of beauty and skincare dupes has very much surprised me.

From designer candles dupes to some look-a-like (and feel alike!) cult skincare products, along with some budget beauty staples accessories that I've been beyond impressed with, Aldi is a budget beauty lovers dream right now! So I thought I'd share my top 5 Aldi Lacura beauty products today in hope to inspire a dedicated trip!

If there's one thing to take away from being a beauty junkie is that it's one expensive hobby! Dull I know, but so very true.

With even drugstore prices now being questionable from time to time!

When it comes to eyeshadow palettes, I own quite a lot. My favourite being either highly foiled shades or warm mattes, so as you can expect I'm a fan of the Urban Decay Naked Ultimate Basics Palette (£39.50). The stunning compact boasts 12 warm toned matte shades all of which I make use of. It also helps that Urban Decay shadows are buttery smooth, blend well and perfectly pigmented!

However a few weeks ago a very much budget matte eyeshadow palette in comparison caught my eye, it instantly made me think of all the Urban Decay Naked Ultimate Basics shades I love and so I had to buy it to compare!

It's not often I talk dupes and there's no real reason for that... other than I just haven't.. until now that is! I also guess the term "dupe" has become less specific in recent years with many brands releasing look-a-like products of more expensive ones that don't necessarily perform in the same way. For me this isn't what I'd know dupes to be so I simply stayed clear of reviewing such products.

But today I thought I'd bring it back and share with you three products that are excellent dupes for some higher end products, which I also own meaning I can fully compare and show you the true similarities. I really hope you find some purse-friendly makeup products to pick up here!

Too Faced Better Than Sex Dupe: Kiko Extra Sculpt Volume Mascara
£17.10 Debenhams HERE vs. £8.90 Kiko HERE

For the longest time I've loved this bargain Kiko mascara, while also loving Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara and then it twigged...they are pretty damn similar! This would make total sense as comparing the brushes they are of a similar hourglass shape and both have a volumising formula that is neither too wet or too dry. Both mascaras do an excellent job of adding volume and fanning out the lashes to perfection. If you have been keen to try out the cult Too Faced mascara or you're already a dedicated fan, then I'd highly recommend trying out with budget alternative especially when it's on offer, which is often (costing around £3.90), and see what you think of it! Much like TF Better Than Sex there's a waterproof version that is a holiday/hot weather staple.

Benefit Majorette Cream Blush Dupe: Bourjois Cream Blush 01
£24.50 Feel Unique HERE vs. £6.78 Amazon HERE

This gorgeous cream-to-powder blush is one of my favourite dupes as it's a dupe for Benefit Majorette and perfect if £24.50 for a single blush is too little steep for you! Not only do these two products look very similar in the pan but the formula is pretty much identical, feeling soft and creamy to the touch, blending down to a flattering powder finish and feel. I would say Benefit Majorette is more orange-toned than Bourjois Cream Blush in 01, however I feel the dupe is more universally flattering due to it's slightly more peachy less orange tone. I do however still love Benefit Majorette as it's perfect in summer with a smokey peach/golden orange eye look and it does contain much more product (3.5g more) than the quite compact Bourjois cream blush.

Benefit Gimme Brow Dupe: Zoeva Graphic Brow Fix
£20.00 Look Fantastic HERE vs. £8.50 Beauty Bay HERE

Another Benefit dupe here, this time for Benefit Gimme Brow, a favourite brow gel of mine. This being pretty similar to Zoeva Graphic Brow Fix, which also consists of three shades to the range but at the fraction of the price at £8.50 compared to 20.00 and with 1.5ml more product! Other than Benefit Gimme Brow featuring a smaller wand and a slightly drier formula, both brow gels are incredibly similar, especially with making the brows appear thicker, how the brows still feel natural and not crispy once the brow gel has dried and even on shades. There are quite a few similar looking brow gels to Benefit Gimme Brow on the market but this Zoeva offering really is the best I've come across!

Even if these three products weren't dupes I'd still love them as they are all spot on, but as they are it makes them that extra bit more special and cherished in my makeup collection.

Have I tempted you with any cheaper alternatives here?

Fee xo.
